Join us for our social, at the Bella Luna and Milky Way in Jamaica Plain- a new location for One Brick socials! We will gather at the brewery for a fun evening. We will be in a reserved group of tables in the back area of the brewery and One Brick will have some complimentary appetizers for volunteers.
As part of the social, we will be doing a scarf and blanket-making activity for Rosie's Place. Volunteers can make scarves or blankets, and we are requesting they bring scissors and some material themselves (we will also provide some materials).
Material will need to be in the following dimensions:
– Fleece usually comes 60" wide from the fabric store and you tell them the length you need.
– Each scarf requires 9" of length To make 4 scarves - so we would request get 1 1/4 yards in length.
– Each blanket needs 2 yards of cloth in length, with 2 fabrics for each one.
Get to know others who are also interested in giving back to the community while enjoying some food and drinks. Special thanks to Bella Luna Restaurant and Milky Way Lounge for hosting us at this event!
