JAMAICA PLAIN HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW RETURNS DECEMBER 2

The Jamaica Plain Holiday Light Show is the only annual large-scale laser light show in Boston during the holiday season, and this year it will debut on Saturday, December 2. The show will project several stories high onto the steeple of First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain. It has become a holiday tradition in JP and for the first time ever, it will include music as part of the viewing experience. The show plays nightly on the hour and half hour between 5:00 and 8:00 PM, from December 2 to Saturday, January 6, 2024. Viewers scan a QR code prior to the show and, as the show projects onto the steeple, listen to accompanying music on their mobile device.

Debut Party on Sat Dec 2, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM

All are invited to our Debut Party on Saturday, December 2, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. We invite everyone to hear a short concert by the Boston Children’s Chorus and enjoy light refreshments from the Blue Frog Bakery before viewing this one-of-a-kind show.

• WHAT: Join us for food, drink, and music as we view the JP Holiday Light Show!

The show was created by artist Diego Delmar and will feature the elusive white squirrel of Jamaica Plain. It celebrates the spirit of giving across many cultures and highlights of the Winter season. The show is approximately eight (8) minutes long and will play on the hour and every half hour between 5:00 and 8:00 PM. A countdown and QR code are displayed between shows.
