After a long and wildly successful career, Chef Jacques has launched the Jacques Pépin Foundation to help support organizations like NECAT, which help disadvantaged individuals enter his beloved industry.

Chef Pépin will demonstrate a variety of basic techniques which are the foundation of professional cooking. From sharpening a knife to the multiple processes of cutting vegetables and fruits, he will show and explain the proper preparation of making an omelet, a mayonnaise, the boning of a chicken and a salmon, and more. His demonstration will illustrate the principles of economy, speed and efficiency essential to professional cooking. Novices and accomplished cooks shall benefit from the knowledge that Chef Pépin has acquired and developed over the course of his career.
