Itai is a singer, songwriter, pianist, accordionist, and prayerleader who seeks to bridge the song circle with the dance floor. They infuse words of Jewish liturgy with the ones in their heart; prayers for unity among humans and Earth. You will hear influences of klezmer, funk, and folk and lyrics in Hebrew and English. This concert will feature Jeremy Orenstein on drums, Jesse Gordon on bass, Sam Forman (of Shabbat Nariya!) on guitar, Yoshi Portuondo-Dember on violin, and Rafael Natan on violin and oboe. You will be invited to sing along!

Elana Brody is a creative singer-songwriter described as an "Ella Fitzgerald meets Jeff Buckley" with a little Bonnie Raitt and Joni Mitchell thrown in. Elana’s artistry is unique and heartfelt, creative and wild, and in performances, she is something of a maverick in her freedom to craft songs for her audience on the spot. Her voice has the ability to cut straight to the heart of people, ranging from powerful soul to soaring “angelic” heights, and she spends the other half of her musical life leading communal prayers for healing and praise. She spent several years learning at Berklee College of Music and is very happy to return to play in her old hometown of Boston.
