Please join Athleta Newbury to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month ! Leave with tips and tricks for staying mentally fresh and a stress ball!
Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. Inner-personal stress and anxiety can take a toll on your physical and mental health, and Athleta wants to dedicate our space to discussing the topic of mental health among women in honor of May, Mental Health Awareness month. Trenni Kusnierek, Athleta Brand Ambassador, mental health advocate, and NBC Sports News Anchor and Reporter and Dr. Nicole Danforth, mental health consultant, mother, and private practitioner are partnering up to host an hour discussion-based workshop at Athleta Newbury to discuss mental health among women and girls.
Dr. Nicole Danforth is the Director of Outpatient Programs at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. In addition, she developed the Post Concussion Program at NWH, and consults to similar programs at Mass General and Boston Children’s Hospitals.
