Christine Fawson is a dynamic jazz vocalist, trumpeter, and flugelhorn player whose music brings together old-school swing, fearless improvisation, and the warmth of a true entertainer. A former longtime faculty member and Acting Chair of Brass at Berklee College of Music, Fawson has performed with Syncopation, the DIVA Jazz Orchestra, and leading jazz artists on stages including Carnegie Hall, the Apollo Theater, Lincoln Center, and the Boston Pops July 4th Celebration. Equally compelling as a singer and horn player, she brings fresh energy to the Great American Songbook with soulful vocals, melodic trumpet work, and deep jazz authority.
