The world we see is only one version of what really exists. Light is made up of different wavelengths, which results in an array of colors we then perceive (think of a rainbow).


However.. there’s more.


Beyond visible color is a hidden world of glowing pinks, yellows, blues and more - enter infrared and ultraviolet light.


The workshop is broken up into three parts: discussion, photo-making, and editing. We start at our studio for a brief discussion and slideshow to learn about IR & UV photography, then a 1-hr photowalk near downtown Boston, and finally an editing session back at our Seaport studio.


At the end of class we’ll review our photos, discuss additional techniques, as well as learn how you can continue to create IR and UV photos on your own.
