We believe we all want to teach the best yoga we can. We believe we are in this to help bring people closer to themselves. As teachers we make countless choices, verbal and nonverbal, obvious and subtle. Each of these choices can either contribute to, or detract from a student’s ability to feel safe and centered. By deconstructing our decision making process and identifying skills and strengths we already have, we can make the yoga room a more welcoming space and an environment conducive to internal exploration. We are most intuitive when we can exercise discernment, when our channels are open and clear. If we set aside our agendas and make space for wisdom, we can help our students do the same.

Referencing trauma informed yoga teaching techniques, Patanjali’s sutras, The Four Agreements, and (here’s the best part) time tested approaches that you probably already know, let’s come together and practice holding better space. We invite teachers and curious students to a weekend of continuing education on Intuitive Teaching. This empowering workshop will mirror for you your own emotionally intelligent thought processes and give you language and framework with which to think about them.

This is workshop is donation only, every dollar we earn goes to scholarships for aspiring yoga teachers of color in Down Under's yoga teacher trainings. Representation in our business is lacking and you can help, so dig in.

Counts as 10 *in person* Yoga Alliance CEUs. No previous teaching experience required.

Suggested donation: $100-$200, but do not let finances hold you back from attending. Any donation amount is appreciated. When you click to register below, a variety of donations options will appear. If you would like to give a custom amount that is different than the options provided, please call 617-566-9642.
