About This Class
Web accessibility, inclusive design and digital inclusion are important aspects of the World Wide Web. As Websites become more complex it is easy to lose sight of the principles behind Web Accessibility and in turn the Web becomes less inclusive. This class will frame some of these challenges and how as developers we can contribute to a more inclusive Web.


Reasons to learn accessible code:


Remove common barriers experienced by users with varying abilities and provide equal access and opportunities to users with disabilities
Become familiar with factors related to policy and compliance
Support semantic HTML and Web standards
Positive impact on SEO
