Bicycles are the most mechanically efficient transportation mode ever invented - and require only a few basic tools to perform most maintenance. This course will introduce students to the primary parts of bicycles, their function, and proper adjustment. The focus of this course will be pre-ride safety check-ups, common issues, and preventative maintenance. Skills learned in this course will give students a comprehensive understanding of their bicycle’s basic needs. This will bring more riding confidence, elongate your bike’s lifetime, and save money at the shop!
