A 3-hr workshop that covers the basics of oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, familiarization with the gas tanks, welding and and metal cutting practice with the torch.
Oxy-fuel is one of the oldest welding processes, though in recent years it has become less popular in industrial applications. However, it is still widely used for welding pipes and tubular structures, as well as in repair work. It is also frequently well-suited (and favored) for fabrication of metal-based artwork.
Workshop also available on 3/7.
We also offer an 8 hour welding intensive and longer classes running 6 or 8 weeks. Metal casting, stone carving, jewelry making, mold making, and figure sculpture workshops are available. Custom workshops are available as well, including: wedding ring, team building, birthday parties, teen welding intensives, and more!
