Learn to make a macrame wall hanging art. We will go over four basic macrame knots: larks head, half knot, square knot, and half hitch. By the end of class, you will leave with a beautiful wall hanging! We'll be working with natural-colored cotton macrame cord in this class.


Class fee includes instruction and all necessary supplies and materials, including cord and a wooden dowel. No prior experience necessary- beginners welcome.


About the Artist: Jessi Highet is a textile artist, soft goods fabricator, and teacher from Brooklyn, NY. She studied textiles and clothing design at Parsons before going on to work as a fabrication artist and teacher. Her personal work is an experimental study of color and pattern through clothing, textiles, and illustration.
