7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Intro Argentine Tango Class by Andi

No partner or experience needed

8:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Milonga (social dancing) with TDJ Zixi

$20 (cash preferred), includes intro class, milonga entrance, and a glass of wine


About the Class

Give Argentine Tango a try in this one hour class introduction class. You'll learn basic connection and how this partner dance functions. No special shoes or prior dancing knowledge needed. Andi Babbs is an experienced instructor and regularly teaches at Ultimate Tango.


About your DJ

I’m happy to announce Zixi is your TDJ for the evening! Zixi Li fell in love with tango music long before she ever stepped onto the dance floor. Her journey into tango began on the West Coast, where the music first captivated her and eventually led her to dancing. As she continued exploring tango, Zixi became interested in the art of DJing. Much of her DJ training developed through the vibrant Ann Arbor tango community, where she learned to craft tandas and read the energy of the room. While she personally loves high-energy and dramatic music, Zixi believes a tango DJ’s role is to serve the dancers. Her goal is always to create a musical journey that responds to the audience, balancing emotion, rhythm, and flow to keep the dance floor alive.


Every 1st Thursday of the Month:

Milonga Sal Azul is a cozy, community-driven gathering where Argentine Tango dancers come together to share the joy of tango, connect with friends, and enjoy beautiful tandas in an elegant setting. Each evening offers a unique experience, with rotating hosts and DJs creating their own special atmosphere.
