Over the last 25 years, intersectionality has emerged as an analytic and organizing tool embraced by grassroots activists to forge social change. With increased mainstream popularity of the term, intersectionality has often been reduced to the seminal buzzword of our time. What is “Intersectionality”? What does it mean to be “Intersectional”?

The Boston Women’s Fund is pleased to present a crash course led by renowned educator Ericka Hart, M. Ed. In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn what the term coined by Dr, Kimberle W. Crenshaw means and how they can apply this critical framework to their professional and personal lives.
