This event is *bring your own bike*...
Giant Boston will host weekly indoor cycling sessions throughout the winter season on Thursdays and Sundays. This is a great way to go on social group rides in the winter without freezing in the Boston cold. This is great for cyclists who are new to the biking world and want to try out riding on a trainer, or for a cyclist who wants to condition for next year’s cycling season. These sessions welcome riders of all abilities. Come join us for an engaging, relaxed, and, most importantly, FUN group ride. These are indoor group rides, so we will have set "routes" planned around elapsed time or mile counts, and each session will typically last 40 mins to an hour; those not wanting to invest the entire session can bail out at their leisure. We have something special planned for those of you who attend often. In addition, free basic bike fitting will be offered to those in need. Small adjustments (i.e., seat height) can be made on the spot during the session. However, the basic fit will need to be scheduled at a later time. We have 6 trainers available for use (2 wind, 2 fluid, 2 magnetic. While the magnetic and wind trainers will be free and first come first serve, the fluid trainers are $5 per session to use. (If at any time, you want to purchase a trainer, the amount you've spent on renting a trainer will be taken off of the list price). If those 6 trainers are already taken, you must bring your own or purchase one. So, if you get a spot in the session and can not make it, please let us know so we can give your spot to someone else on the waitlist. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the class to get your bike and trainer set up. Refreshments and snacks will be provided after the sessions.
