Join us for the 6th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Newton Ceremonial Celebration on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM at Albemarle Field in Newton, MA!

One of the region’s largest Indigenous-led Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations, this free, family-friendly gathering brings together Indigenous peoples, Tribal representatives, artists, musicians, dancers, educators, cultural presenters, businesses, nonprofits, and community members from across New England and beyond.

This year’s theme, “Medicines of the Lands: Healing Through Ancestral Plants,” honors the relationship Indigenous Peoples have maintained with the lands, waters, and plant medicines since time immemorial. Throughout the day, guests will experience Indigenous ceremony, traditional drums, music and dance, storytelling, cultural and educational presentations, traditional arts, and teachings about Indigenous plant medicines and ecological knowledge.
