This week, join us and our instructor Damian Silva as he discusses some tips and tricks for incorporating Maschine into your live synth performances. Native Instruments’ MPC-inspired hardware, Maschine, is fantastic as a standalone production set up, but it’s also much more versatile than that. With the newest software update, NI has added the ability to control hardware synths and drum machines, opening up a whole new world of possibility. We'll be exploring the best ways to expand your capabilities with Maschine by working it into your live performances.


Damian Silva is co¬founder and creative director of Bassic, Boston’s first and longest running Dubstep night. He has been DJing since 1997 when he was first exposed to the sounds of Jungle/Drum & Bass in Philly’s early rave scene. In that time he has started 2 promotion companies, managed a nightclub, established 2 long running monthly nights and performed at dozens of events.
