Chefs Table Foundation announces a new culinary class: In One Day Learn the Basics for Better, Safer COOKING. This is a one day, hands-on instruction that will provide essential knowledge for safer cooking and food handling, knife skills & maintenance; safe food storage for perishables; food safety; internal temperature codes for proteins and more.
The class will take place on Saturday, September 23rd from 9am to 1pm at the Elks Lodge, 248 Spring Street, West Roxbury, MA. The class is appropriate for ages 14 years old and over. About Chefs Table Foundation
Conceptualized in 2012, Chefs Table Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit video production organization that produces educational and informative cooking shows. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting homeless U.S. Veterans and underprivileged youths with a culinary scholarship to The Salvation Army Kroc Corps Community Center based in Boston. To fulfill its mission, the Foundation produces two television cooking shows: Vegetarian Spice and The Chefs’ Table Series®, using PBS guidelines on public access stations in Massachusetts. The show features cooking instruction, coffee, nutritional, fitness, chef’s and farm to table tips; wine and beer pairings and restaurant interviews.
