If you want to see the best improv comedy in New England, you go to ImprovBoston; and if you want to see the best of the best, you go to their Mainstage show. This weekly event showcases their signature style, blending fast-paced games, hilarious scenes, skillful storytelling, memorable music and 100% voluntary audience participation into a completely unique show each Thursday. There are no rules and no boundaries, just hilarious comedy dished up by an elite cast of the best improvisers in the Northeast.
Given the ridiculously fun and unpredictable nature of improv, the cast can’t guarantee age-appropriateness (every audience gives different suggestions). Mainstage shows are recommended for ages 13 and up and those who enjoy some “PG-13” humor.
The show includes a 5-minute intermission.
A wine/beer bar will be available with light snacks and refreshments for purchase.
