The Consulate of Colombia in Boston invites colleges and universities students in Greater Boston to participate in the first 'Imagen por Colombia' contest. Which revolves around the themes of the commemoration of the month of remembrance and solidarity for the victims of armed conflict in the Country.
Contest is open now to April 24th, 2018.
This year, we are Launching the first Version of the contest with the intention of celebrating and showcasing artistic expression of students to generate consciousness about and remember the effects of violence in our history.
Selected art pieces will be exhibited at the V Edition of the Conference For Colombia, organized by the Colombian Students Association of MIT and Harvard, on April 27 the and 28th. (Check this link for this event) http://www.colombianconference.co/
Additionally, these winning pieces will be showcased at the Consulate office for 3 months. After that time, the pieces will be exhibited in show rooms at Medellín, Colombia on September.
