Identify: Local Issues, Local Impact

Want to gain the skills to be a great non-profit volunteer, board member, or leader?

Inspired by the Learning by Giving Foundation's model for educating the next generation of philanthropic leaders, this event features a panel with luminaries from The Boston Foundation, John Hancock Foundation, Clipper Ship Foundation, and Mayor's Office of Recovery Services, and will be moderated by Amy Kingman, Executive Director of Learning by Giving Foundation. Opening remarks from Alex Buffett Rozek, Chair of the Board, Learning by Giving Foundation.

We will begin with a guided networking session with fellow attendees, which will lead to the captivating panel, and will conclude with Q&A. Complementary beer and snacks will be served. The Emerging Leaders Council is a group of young professionals who work to educate, engage, and equip the next generation of philanthropic leaders who want to make a local impact. "Identify" is the first event in a four-part series that highlights the core tenants of philanthropy education, provides networking opportunities with peers, showcases local organizations, and connects talented volunteers with organizations seeking skills-based support.
