It may be cold outside, but First Fridays are getting red hot. Sip a spicy signature cocktail, be dazzled by contemporary art, catch performances and lessons from Salsa y Control, and show off your finest red attire on the dance floor with DJ Hernan Choque. Are you red-y?

Salsa y Control | Lessons at 7 + 8 PM. Performance at 8:20 PM

Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater, Second Floor

Learn to salsa dance with Boston’s hottest dance company


DJ Hernan Choque | 6–10 PM

State Street Corporation Lobby, First Floor

Show off your red hot look on the dance floor.


Valentine Making + Poetry Writing | 6–9:30 PM

Bank of America Art Lab, First Floor

Roses are red, violets are red, write a poem or make a valentine instead!


ICA Galleries | 6–9 PM 

Fourth Floor, Food + Drink Not Permitted

Explore current exhibitions in the galleries! 


Sips + Snacks | 6–9:30 PM

Bars on First + Second Floor; Food on First Floor

This 21+ event does sell out; advance tickets are highly recommended. $3 fee applies and is waived for ICA members.  Discounted rates are available for packages of 10 or more. Please contact Visitor Services at [email protected] or 617-478-3100 during open hours for more information. The museum will not be open to visitors outside of the First Fridays event. Discounts, promotions, and admission vouchers do not apply toward First Fridays admission. The ICA store will not be open during First Fridays. Doors, Art Lab, and galleries close at 9 PM. Bars close at 9:30 PM.
