Pulitzer-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire's comedy Ripcord finds two women of a certain age locked in a no-holds-barred battle to the "death." What's the point of contention? A sunny room on an upper floor in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility. It's considered prime real estate by the residents, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with chipper new arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid her by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that uncovers deep truths that each would rather remain hidden.
