Tim McCarthy, is an award-winning scholar, teacher, activist, and public servant. He holds a joint faculty appointment in Harvard’s undergraduate honors program in History and Literature, the Graduate School of Education, Harvard Business School, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he is Core Faculty and Director of Culture Change & Social Justice Initiatives at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. Professor McCarthy is a faculty convener of the Emerging Human Rights Leaders Program. Tim is WomenExplore's final speaker in the fall lecture series titled, "Struggles, Strengths and Strategies. He will explore how to sustain momentum around change.


WomenExplore Lecture and Discussion Forum focuses on issues of concern to women, from the personal to the global. It affirms and validates the diversity of women's viewpoints and values. All women and men are welcome. Registration begins at 11 am, and you can join us for an informal cup of tea or coffee. Feel free to eat your lunch during the lectures.
