"What should I charge for my work?"

All artists struggle with this question!

Join Michael, Mallory, Erin and Regina as they discuss best practices when pricing your art. This is a one hour presentation followed by a 30 minute Q&A session.

The panelists will address questions from CAA artist members:

-How do you determine appropriate pricing for your medium?

-What factors do you consider, such as print runs, edition sizes, or materials?

-What role should dealers play in setting prices?

-How do you balance volume sales with fair pricing?

-Do you maintain consistent pricing between your studio and gallery settings, especially without exclusive representation?

-How do you handle gallery commission rates? What strategies work best?

-Can you share pricing anecdotes or lessons learned? What do you wish you had done differently?

-What to do in a fluctuating market from an artist perspective.
