People have been redirected to the outdoors in 2020 as shops and other establishments have been shuttered. Time in the outdoors is wonderful, but along with increased visitorship comes more chances that accidents and distress calls will happen. Join Search & Rescue volunteer Ryan Mcguire for an informative session about how to avoid needing assistance this coming season. Tips, strategies, gear, and more will be discussed, and if you have your own questions, leave them in the comment wall or be prepared to ask them during the presentation!

Ryan has helped in dozens of Search & Rescue calls in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and in addition to his experience being a first responder, he also is a guide for Redline Guiding. All donations will go directly to Memorial Hospital's COVID-19 Response Fund.

Please note that Ryan had to receive permission from the Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue Board in order to present, and if you have friends or family that are interested in hiking safely, attending this session is a great way to make first responders' jobs easier while supporting a good cause. All participants will receive link information after registering.
