"And no one exists alone..."
Join the Horizon Ensemble in our first concert of the new year! In Stronger Together, we show the power of music to build community. Join us on Sunday, February 8 at 3:00 PM in the Church of the Covenant at 67 Newbury Street.
First, we'll premiere colorful new works by our friends: Five Imagined Dances by Gaston Gosselin and Lustmord by Veronica Kao. Next, we'll hear Southern Harmony by American composer Ulysses Kay, inspired by American folk songs. Finally, we'll play the beloved Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar, a celebration of musical mystery and friendship.
We'll be testing a special bit of audience participation on this concert. You'll get to vote on an encore! We can't wait to know what music you want to hear one more time.
This is a pay-what-you-can concert, with suggested donation of $25. We will collect donations in person at the concert, or you can find us on Venmo at @HorizonEnsemble. This concert is wheelchair-accessible. No bright or flashing lights are allowed at this event. Please register online on our Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1980235725361
If you can't make it in person, there will be a YouTube livestream: https://youtube.com/live/Kpina6oRbrA
See you soon!
