Join Somerville Arts Council for live performances every Tuesday and Thursday at 7PM as part of the Home Alone Art Series ✨🎥
Thursday, June 25:
ef Czekaj’s Sequestered Storytime: Bedtime Edition
Children’s book author-and-illustrator Jef Czekaj has been stuck at home, like the rest of us, for a looooonnnng time. And he’s bored. Join Jef as he reads picture books, draws, plays music, is visited by puppets, and whatever else he can think of. This performance will be kid-friendly, but (hopefully) enjoyable for everyone (think: a hyper-local Pee-Wee’s Playhouse).
Performance at 7pm:

The Somerville Arts Council is launching the Home Alone Art Series (HAAS), a series of art-related performances live-streamed through Facebook. The performances will represent a variety of genres, including: Music, Visual Arts, Performance, Writing, Theater, Dance and Multidisciplinary art forms.
The goal of the HAAS is to hire and pay Somerville artists (both residents and those who have a studio in the city) who are experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19. SAC's events strive to bring people together; however given current circumstances, we need to respect social distancing measures to protect the well-being of our community. So HAAS brings people together virtually!
We are accepting on a rolling basis, please share, we want to pay you!
