On the weekend of January 28-30, experience "History in Bloom" in the Churchill and Janet Franklin Lyceum at the Concord Museum. Eight talented floral designers will present their interpretation of objects from the Museum's renowned collection, including several Loring W. Coleman paintings and other artifacts from Concord's remarkable history. These include a diamond-head clock made in town and a lady's shoe worn in 1775. Take a break from the gray landscape of winter and immerse yourself in colorful and fragrant flowers.

This event also coincides with your last chance to experience the evocative exhibition of paintings by Loring W. Coleman in the Wallace Kane Gallery. Drawn from real-life subjects in and around Massachusetts primarily, they are often monumental in size and incredibly detailed. In addition, come explore the Museum's newly installed permanent galleries including genuine artifacts that served as the inspiration for the flowering artistry.

The Concord Museum is open Thursday to Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. "History in Bloom" is free with standard Museum admission.
