Enjoy two hours of hiking throughout a couple of miles of trails, glacial erratics, and a post-Thanksgiving belly. A jaunt into Weir River Farm will also take hikers into paths crisscrossing with animals and a somewhat creepy pet cemetery. Please bring shoes you don't mind getting muddy plus a couple of layers, water, and food. This hike is open for all abilities!

Please note - I am bringing my 3-month old Shiba-Inu puppy as part of an endeavor to socialize her. You must be comfortable with a puppy in order to attend and entirely open to the idea that she might nip at you if you try to pet her. Please, no other dogs are allowed as she has some more training to do before mixing it up with other friends. I'll make sure to post a multi-dog-friendly jaunt in December. I will also bring some dry dog food you can feed her as part of the socialization exercise. You do not have to actively interact with the puppy if you do not wish to, but you must be comfortable in the presence of a puppy.

I am putting a $5 fee to attend for NCPs as I don't like people who flake. Carpoolers will not need to pay anything additional. I will donate the funds of the NCP fees to a local dog shelter; please provide suggestions if you have any. I will not provide any specific trail plan until the final roster is set, and I will begin a text thread the day beforehand.
