Hike - Presidential Transverse (Northern Half)

Come explore the northern half of the Presidential Ridge in the White Mountains NH! There will be a car parked at the route end location and we will carpool participants back to the starting location.

Distance: 14.4 miles

Elevation: 6519 ft.

Expectations:

You must be comfortable and capable hiking the distance with the elevation gain and have all of the required gear below. You are joining like-minded enthusiasts and are responsible for your own safety and preparedness. You are responsible for having a map of this hike (digital/physical); this is not a guided hike.

What to bring:

1) Hiking boots or trail runners (no tennis shoes or city sneakers)

2) 2 - 3 liters of water

3) Day bag to carry your stuff

4) headlamp with extra batteries

5) Food plus snacks

6) Hat + sunglasses

7) Sunscreen and bug spray

8) Map of this hike

If the weather looks unfavorable I will change the hike route and reschedule this route for a later date. You are allowed to participate only if signed up for this event on Ridj-it. No exceptions!
