The Signal Ridge Trail to Mount Carrigain is a 10.8 Mile out and back trail with 3,530 feet of elevation gain. There's a great view from at the top from the fire tower!

Requirements:


This is a difficult hike due to the elevation gain over a short number of miles. Please do your research and know your limits before signing up. You must have recent hiking experience of other 4,000 footers or similar equivalent to join. This is not a guided hike, be prepared to hike alone with all the needed gear if you want to turn around at a significantly different pace. You must bring the following list of mandatory equipment:


Gear - no exceptions


1) hiking boots - or trail runners (no tennis shoes)


2) 2 - 3 liters of water


3) snacks plus meal


4) headlamp + batteries


5) map


6) emergency supplies that you would normally bring if hiking alone


Optional


7) hiking poles


8) hat/ sunblock
