Hike Mt. Kearsarge, one of the closest and most approachable mountains on the 52 With A View list! This is great hike if you're getting into hiking, bagging a peak off the 52 WAV or just want incredible views with great company. The plan is to ascend the Winsolow Trail to the summit and descend via the Barlow Trail. Due to the short length of the hike and depending on the weather, we can spend a good amount of time on the summit taking in the views.

Expectations


This is a beginner winter hike, but you will need the gear listed below, no exceptions. You should expect to take your sweet, beautiful time on this hike, as it's a whopping 2.4 miles. Anybody who wants to speed through it should probably post a different hike.

1) Hiking boots (no trail runners)


2) Non-cotton layers


3) 2 - 3 liters of water


4) Food


5) Rain gear (depending on weather_

1) Current Event Restrictions in Place:
