We'll be hiking Franconia Ridge, which contains three peaks: Little Haystack, Lincoln, and Lafayette which are all 4,000 footers. This hike has one of the best views in New England as it follows a ridge-line once you reach the summit of Little Haystack. We'll be hiking up via the Falling Waters trail to Little Haystack, followed by the Franconia Ridge trail to Mount Lincoln and Lafayette. We descend via the Old Bridle Path. The total hike will be 8.4 miles in a loop.
You are expected to have a map of this hike downloaded on your phone and/or on paper; I am not your personal guide. We will hike together and stay together. You must be in physical condition that allows you to move non-stop if needed for multiple hours at a time up steep grades.
