We will be hiking Mount Isolation via the Glen Boulder trail. Since the route to Mount Isolation goes most of the way up Boott Spur and comes within half a mile of the summit, thought we would hike that as well. This Trail is projected to cover 11.7 miles with about 5100 feet of elevation gain. To give some perspective, that is greater than most routes up the Presidentials, so make sure you have plenty of prior experience hiking 4000 footers. All hikers will be screened. While Mount Isolation is a 4000 footer, Boott Spur isn't due to lack of prominence. Understandably, many put this hike off to be the last, which to me sounds like a miserable and anti-climactic way to finish up, hence best to get it done beforehand.

Please note the weather will be much colder at higher elevations, and to avoid exposure, you will need to follow the gear list as stated below. Anyone who shows up without the right gear will be turned away. I am not a guide, and you are expected to be 100% prepared as if you were to do this hike by yourself.
Gear (non negotiable)
1) Hiking boots or trail runners (absolutely no sneakers)
2) Multiple non-cotton layers for both bottom and core
3) Windbreaker jacket
4) Non-cotton hat
5) Gloves
6) 3 - 4 liters of water
7) Raincoat
8) Non-cotton socks
