We'll be hiking the little known but gorgeous Skatutakee & Thumb loop in SW NH, with a perfect view of Monadnock to the south. This will be a relatively slower paced hike, with a long stop (1-2 hrs) at the main peak to enjoy ourselves and take in the sights. People are welcome to bring paints, yoga mat, hammock, whatever you want to do!


If you are looking to go fast, not take your time enjoying the scenery, or go off on your own, this is not the hike for you!


We're in for a gentle 70 degree day, and according to recent trail reviewers, ice and snow are all but gone at this point. Can't wait

We can park at the nearby Harris Center for Conservation
