Breakheart is a little-known but gorgeous reservation just north of the city. Saturday is supposed to be a gorgeous 50 degrees and sunny, so I figure getting outside is in order. We'll be doing the Pearce Lake and Upper Pond trail, but starting from the opposite end (parking area). About 3 miles in reality and pretty easy.


The point of the trip is to enjoy a half day in the sun, including an hour or two of lounging out by the water, where we can have lunch. People are welcome to bring paints, yoga mat, hammock, whatever you want to do!


If you're looking to go fast or get in and out, this is not the trip for you
