Something new is brewing at Bistro du Midi. This spring, experience Garden View Tea: a fresh take on afternoon tradition with Parisian flair, featuring inventive bites and pâtisserie by Chef Partner Robert Sisca, Executive Pastry Chef Tab Volpe and Beverage Director Ben Chesna.
Garden View Tea service features teas thoughtfully sourced from J’enwey Tea Co., a local purveyor known for their artisan blends and sustainable practices. The menu showcases 9 tea selections, including caffeine free options, and custom blends such as Bistro du Midi Black (full bodied black tea with malty depth and refined finish), local classics like Beacon Hill Breakfast (hearty black tea blend with a hint of maple) and Lady Blue Earl Grey (hints of blue cornflower that deliver a floral elegance to the bold bergamot essence).
The afternoon tea bites from the kitchen make a grand ceremony with a house made variety of scones, sandwiches and pastries. Scones (Buttermilk & Cream, Fruit and/or Angel Biscuit) are served with Devonshire cream, lemon curd and fruit jam. Sandwiches are French inspired takes on the classics with Earl Grey Cured Ora King Salmon with caviar, Smoked Ham, Duck Rillettes or Cucumber with avocado and mint. Garden View Tea is served Thursday through Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
