We're back friends! Another installment of our plant walk series wit Quontay @qmadeit celebrating in part the anniversary of her amazing plant nursery @emeraldcityplantshop. We're also so very honored to have Michael Del Rio @verde.delrioymar with us bringing their extensive plant knowledge from around the world and now working in Athol, MA @the_farm_school.
We'll be doing another gorgeous plant walk to be in nature and community with one another and the land. We'll not only hike, we'll learn about plants and fungi.
We'll also learn about and be educated on Iboga, the sacred fruit of Gabon Africa. We may even have a guest speaker who will be able to speak on this fruit, it's origins, history and importance as a sacrament for the Bwiti peoples.
Please come out, enjoy the day, and be in community. We'd love to hear your own stories about what plants and the woods mean to you.
We'll be gathering Saturday May 30th at Houghton Pond at the Blue Hills (https://maps.app.goo.gl/zCFcWEJpoRt4zuzU8) starting at 10am.
