Safeguarding coastal marshes delivers compounding returns - making our communities more climate resilient, slowing storm surges, absorbing carbon, and providing habitat for fish, birds and other wildlife. Woods Hole Research Center Senior Scientist Dr. Linda Deegan will discuss the threats to our shorelines, and present the latest science on wetland resilience and restoration, followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Sue Adamowicz of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Dr. Jacques Oliver of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and WHRC scientist Hillary Sullivan.
