Our seventh annual Hanukkah celebration is going virtual! Join us online as we honor the rich history and traditions of the Jewish festival of lights through music, dance, an artist talk, and a community candle lighting.
The free event is hosted in partnership with the Jewish Arts Collaborative, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and the Consulate of Israel to New England. It streams here and on Facebook and YouTube and features:
– A community candle lighting
– Music from singer-songwriter Tamar Radah
– Simona Di Nepi, Charles and Lynn Schusterman Curator of Judaica, in conversation with artists Moshe Zabari and Tamar Paley
– The Boston Dance Theater performing “Shadows and Flame,” a new work commissioned for the MFA’s Hanukkah celebration
