Hal Galper, is, simply put, one of the great pianists in the history of jazz. He was a "first call" accompanist for Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Cannonball Adderley, Phil Woods, Anita O'day, Chris Connor, Joe Williams. Hal Galper's piano trio recordings are considered among the finest in the jazz trio genre.

Jerry Bergonzi is one of the world's most influential tenor saxophonists, both through his many recordings, and as an educator at New England Conservatory of Music. He was for a time the saxophonist in the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
Drummer Austin McMahon and bassist Greg Loughman are two of Boston's most talented and sensitive jazz accompanists, as well as noted leaders of jazz groups under their own names.
Admission: $20.00/$15.00 for students w/id
(cash preferred). Doors open at 7pm.
Beer and Wine: The Lilypad has a nice selection of craft beers, as well as fine wines.
Parking: there is a municipal parking lot on Springfield St. (around the corner).
Seating: The Lilypad is super-cozy in many ways, but the seating is simple (wooden chairs and benches) , so feel free to bring a seat cushion!
