The Walnut Hill Community Dance Academy presents a new twist to the Nutcracker this December. A ballet inspired by David Ira Rottenberg’s popular picture book, Gwendolyn’s Nutty Nutcracker.

In this child-friendly ballet, Gwendolyn is a dancing pig who learns that being a ballerina in The Nutcracker is all about teamwork. Everyone pulling together creates the most beautiful performance and makes the most fun.

During the intermission, there is a Meet and Greet with the Nutcracker characters and the author himself! Gwendolyn books will be available before and after the performance for any parents who wish to purchase an autographed book for their child. Performances are Dec. 14th and 12 noon and 3 PM and Dec. 15th at 12 noon.
