Greystone has been a very personal project from day one. We are a mother/daughter duo, and the South End is home. Greystone is our baby- it’s a direct reflection of us, and emphasizes the things we value most: fresh, from-scratch food, exceptional coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and personal service. We wanted to create the place that we ourselves would seek out in the neighborhood. A place that could be our daily stop.
The name “Greystone” is not random— it is the street that Jacqueline grew up on and that Patty still lives on. It embodies exactly what we hope Greystone is— a place that in this increasingly transactional world, helps you to feel connected to the place that you live and the people that surround you. It’s all about community.
We have obsessed over cafe culture, beautiful design, and delicious home-cooked food for years. In Greystone, we have taken a crazy/calculated leap of faith in pursuing what we love to bring the neighborhood a place that they can call their own. We hope you enjoy it!
