Come meet Nikki of portoula - a local business selling artisanal products from her homeland in Greece. Nikki will be sampling her delicious honey products - both on their own, and in seasonally-inspired light bites for you to enjoy. The perfect inspiration for your Easter table, spring picnic, or afternoon delight.
PLUS, you can see and experience more of portoula's joy-inducing treasures from Greece! From colorful, hand felted shawls/scarves to gorgeous, meticulously hand crafted jewelry designs – this will be a feast for ALL the senses. Join us for Mother's Day gifts galore!
This is an open-house style event, where guests are invited to come say hello to a local, like-minded business in Curio's lab space. Stop by for as long as you like!
Guided by her Greek heritage and a desire to live (and promote) a life of greater purpose, intention, and joy, Nikki Menounos Daigel created portoula. Purveyor of joy-inducing treasures inspired by the spirit of Greece, portoula celebrates handwrought, sustainably produced, artisanally crafted goods that bespeak an emotional relationship to one’s work; singular treasures that connect us with our past and with each other. Portoula single estate, raw, artisanal Greek honey varieties are indeed a treasure! Unlike the blossom honey widely available in the US, ours is forest honey – unmatched in flavor, texture, and nutritional benefits, it’s a true culinary delight. Produced especially for us by a 4th-generation beekeeper in Nikki’s small Greek village, nestled in the magical Arcadian mountains of the Peloponnese.
