As a dancer with legendary Boston-based dance crew, The Circle Children and his own circle, Sweat & Tears, DJ Savuth discovered 25 years ago that music is the answer. His natural talent as a dancer has been recognized and celebrated through performances across the Northeast, showcase awards and, currently, as a dance instructor. He not only tries to teach those who attend his workshops "moves," but encourages them to allow the pleasure of moving their minds along with their bodies. In further commitment to his passion for music and dance, DJ Savuth (a/k/a Sammy) has taken his love and belief in the power of music from the dancefloor into a DJ booth. For over 15 years, Savuth has DJ'ed as a guest at parties in Boston, Brooklyn and Coney Island. He is the co-founder and resident DJ of Release Your Dance and the founder and resident of Volume, both Boston-based dance party. His sets are electrifying and powerful moving people into abandonment and free expression.
