Grand Slam Story Slam

South Shore Story Slams is pleased to announce they will be hosting with the Milton Art Center the fifth and only Grand Slam Story Slam South of Boston online June 19 at 7:30 p.m. to 8:30p.m. This is the culmination the five story slam winners from the story slam series at Turtle Swamp Brewing in Boston.The first place winners will compete against each other for the title ,the The Best of the Best Storyteller of Season Five 2019/20. Our season has been cut short due to Covid -19 but, we have found a way and the show must go on.

This season you will hear stories of ghosts past and present, a chicken who escaped a near death experience and and a love story you will not soon forget along with other tantalizing tales. People have come to love and appreciate stories and storytelling for adults all over Massachusetts and beyond. Comedian Erin Lynch from Milton, will be your host for the show and Maia McViney of Norwell will be the featured teller as last years Grand Slam Story Slam Champion with her story about a robbery that had everyone in the edge of their seat. This years finalists are Dennis Becker,Jamie Tessler,Valerie Grabiel, Sarasweet Rabidoux Kelsey, Sonia Paz and Mercia Jane Tapping The audience will choose their favorite story along with a panel of three judges. There will be a first and second place winner. The show is one hour long with audience give aways.
