The Grand Slam Story Slam is the ultimate storytelling competition where all the winners of the 2017/18 story slam season will gather to compete for the title of the Best of the Best of Doyles,SouthShore and South Coast Storytelling Series. People from all walks of life will take the stage with their five min. stories trying to win the tittle.
The stories begin at 7PM and doors open at 6:30PM.
This season some of our winners are an actress, a comedian, a recovery coach, a DNA scientist, a Professor of Art History, a barista and we are only getting started. There will be ten tellers with five min. stories. from their lives. The slams have been selling out at the Doyles Cafe in Jamiaca Plain , The James Library, The Center for the Arts in Norwell, The Greasy Luck in, New Bedford and at the Hingham Library where there is always a standing room only crowd. People have come to love and appreciate stories and storytelling for adults on the South Shore. This year we welcome back Ginny Ballou who was our grand slam winner last year.
