On Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 join the Concord Museum in a Grand Reopening Celebration! In addition to seeing the Museum’s newly renovated and designed spaces including: Gateway to Concord, Concord: At the Center of Revolution, the People of Musketaquid and Concord Collects we have planned festivities throughout the day!


Kids are invited to look closely at the form and color of the beautiful sculptures in the new Concord Collects exhibition and then bring their own designs to life! In the History Learning Center families will be look closely and unpack the great writer and thinker Henry David Thoreau through his historic objects.


There will also be “Spotlight Presentations” on the master work of Childe Hassam and the extraordinary Tang and Song ceramics in the Concord Collects gallery. All activities are free with admission. For a complete schedule go to www.concordmuseum.org or call 978-369-9763 x216.
