GRANA, the glamourous fine dining restaurant inside the newly renovated The Langham, Boston, will open for brunch this Saturday, February 5 starting at 11:30am. Weekend brunch will continue every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am with last seating at 2:15pm.
Chef Stephen Bukoff’s inventive brunch menu features a three-course family style menu with Italian influences. Highlights of the new brunch menu include starters such as Smoked Salmon Bagel with caper cream cheese, pickled shallot, everything spice and dill; Polenta Waffles with whipped ricotta and roasted pepper mostarda; and Arancini with roasted beets and goat cheese. Entrees include The Brekkie, Bukoff’s play on a traditional breakfast sandwich, with mortadella, arugula, fontina and poached eggs; Braised Short Rib Benedict with a potato pancake and veal hollandaise; Egg White Frittata with foraged mushroom, leeks and smoked mozzarella; and Baked Eggs with stewed tomato, basil, Italian sausage and taleggio cheese. Finish off the experience with an indulgent selection of surprise desserts prepared by pastry chef, Kerry Levesque.
The $72 USD prix-fixe menu includes all four starters and a choice of entrée. Guests have the opportunity to boost their meal with a wide selection of brunch enhancements including pressed juices and dishes such as Zucchini Bread French Toast, XXL Garlic Bread and Greek yogurt parfait.
Cocktail highlights by Paige McGroarty include the Tomato Tomahto, Grana’s house made Bloody Mary and Spill the Beans, a sharable vodka-based cocktail inspired by cold brew served in a gold French press. A choice of cinnamon banana or chocolate peppermint cold foam will allow guests to assemble the cocktail to their liking.
